Jabberwocky

'Twas [Em] brillig, and the slithy toves
Did [C] gyre and [G] gimble in the [C] wabe
All [Em] mimsy were the boro-[C] goves
And the mome raths [Em] outgrabe.
'Be-[Em] ware the Jabber-[G] wock, my [C] son!
The jaws that [D] bite, the [G] claws that [C] catch!
Be-[Em] ware the [B] Jubjub [C] bird, and shun
The [G] frumious [Em] Bandersnatch!'
He [Em] took his vorpal sword in hand
Long [C] time the [G] manxome foe he [C] sought
So [Em] rested he by the Tumtum [C] tree
And stood a-[B] while in [Em] thought.
And [Em] as in uffish thought he stood
The [C] Jabberwock, with [G] eyes of [C] flame
Came [Em] whiffling through the [G] tulgey [C] wood
And burbled [G] as it [Em] came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
'And [Em] has thou slain the [G] Jabberwock?
Come [C] to my [G] arms, my beamish [C] boy!
O [Em] frabjous [C] day! Calloh! Callay!'
He chortled [G] in his [Em] joy
